Finally, after four long years (three of them being COVID related), I was able to return to my motherland visiting with parents and family in Greece.
Taking a restorative hiatus, I fully immersed and embraced my family savoring the beautiful culture and beauty of Greece. I’m delighted to be back, fully re-energized, rejuvenated and reconnected to my roots. It’s so incredibly important to press pause and breathe.
During my time off, I was filled with gratitude experiencing what I’ve come to call my, “Soul Song.” This alignment of inner peace and knowledge empowers our intuition creating self sustainability of leading our authentic lives and mindfully making decisions.
True self acceptance and awareness awakens in the portals of wisdom embracing our life’s lessons and experiences connecting to ourselves by “activating a natural state of wellbeing.”

When we travel we are usually breaking our normal routine, that means we can’t operate on autopilot. Growing Our Relationships With Our Adults Children: Why I Treasure The Gift Of Time
What is it about casual conversations, moments of joy, being present with ourselves and our adults children that makes us savor and cherish these memories forever? It’s pressing pause on the day-to-day and stepping into each other’s lives, actively listening and holding space for our stories, and creating moments that keeps our adult-engaged relationships together with purpose, meaning, and understanding with compassion.
I’ve learned along this journey of parenthood, that parenting never stops, it just changes. Even older kids still need us to be their parents, but it’s magical when they also become friends. Eventually, your hope for more time on this earth will be less about living to old age and more about seeing your children grow and flourish as they become whom they are destined to be.
